Dashboard States · Empty vs Data
Two dashboards. One philosophy.
Every screen nudges toward UGC creation. For new users, it's the star. For active users, it's a smart weekly prompt that keeps creation top-of-mind.

● Empty State — UGC patterns
How we pull them into creating
  • 1
Hero UGC card at top. "Post your first win in 60 seconds" — the single most prominent module, outranking even the setup checklist. First impression: this product makes posts.
  • 2
Template chips preview. Shows real template names (Before/After, Patient Review, Doctor Spotlight) so users see concrete possibilities, not abstract "create content".
  • 3
Pulsing FAB with animated ring. Two concentric rings pulse outward in sequence, drawing the eye to the center button. Only in empty state — fades once first post is created.
  • 4
FAB tooltip hint. "Create anytime from here" arrow above the FAB teaches users that the "+" is always available.
  • 5
"In the background..." card. Shows the AI engine working on their calendar — makes them patient while also making them aware content is coming.
  • 6
Upcoming events preview. "Here's what we'll be creating — no effort from you needed" proves the automated content path exists while the UGC card proves the creative path exists.
● Data State — UGC patterns
Keeping UGC habitual, not annoying
  • 1
Smart weekly nudge. "Haven't posted a custom in a week?" — triggered only when UGC activity drops below a threshold. Not every day, not every visit.
  • 2
Template carousel in the nudge. Horizontal scroll of 3 suggested templates with the most-relevant one pinned first (green-tint "Patient Review" in the mockup).
  • 3
Social proof in the nudge. "Custom posts get 2.4x engagement" gives a reason to create, not just a reminder.
  • 4
Contextual timing. "Friday" tag on the nudge — suggest staff/weekend posts on Friday, educational content on Monday, patient stories midweek. Pattern based on day.
  • 5
Top post card as motivation. Seeing your #1 post with real numbers (247 likes) reinforces that posting works, making the FAB feel like a ROI button.
  • 6
FAB still prominent (no pulse). The active user doesn't need training. The FAB sits confidently at center, always reachable, never intrusive.

Both phones are interactive — the inner scroll area shows every module from top to bottom nav.
